Toppa joined the club at the start of last season and unfortunately increased our Newcastle fan population within the club. Toppa is a jinking silky midfielder with tremendous ability on the ball. He has now proved that he can genuinly play anywhere across the mid field after moving into the central midfield trio recently. A frustrating player from time to time as he can be guilty of holding onto the ball a bit to long and wanting to beat too many men 5 is enough Tops ha ha. He has an excellent range of passing and chips in with quite a few goals. Toppa has surely already claimed the miss of this season in a game against Bowburn Crowtrees. Inexplicably Toppa was following up a tame shot that slowly rolled of the post leaving the goal at his mercy only for him to tangle with ball and post seeing the ball rebound off his shin and wide to the delight of Mr Purt who claimed Toppa's real identity as Stevie Wonder's brother. Not to be out done Toppa managed to upset Purteous and nearly got linched later when he was hunted down only to get rid of it just in time due to Nick Walker's screaming "TOPPA WATCH OUT" Toppa loves a pint of smooth but we would like to see him out more on Sunday sessions as he is a valued member of the team.
